Electrical Engineering and Information Technology Department was established concurrently with the organization in 1980.
The institute’s main objective is to provide support and training for talented researchers, innovators, and developers working in relevant fields. In addition to its supportive role, the institute is tasked to execute and
oversee applied research projects and their corresponding pilot development with the aims of acquiring the technical knowhow and transferring the outcome to the industrial sector. Institute’s technical staff is
comprised of 21 faculty and 4 scientific board members.
